The market town of Cirencester, which was founded by the Romans, is often referred to as the capital of the Cotswolds. Situated in Gloucestershire, the town is twinned with Itzehoe in Germany. Cirencester has a population of around 20,000 and although it lies in the heart to the Cotswolds, it has a great transport link into London from Kemble station.
